EWEF Ringleaders’ Meet-Up

On Tuesday 29th July 2025, Erudite Women’s Empowerment Foundation brought together twenty-two (22) young female leaders to a workshop dubbed “Ringleaders’ Meetup” aimed at strengthening their capacity in the area of leadership, communication, and impact sustainability strategies. This meet-up targeted driven female leaders in politics, academia, movement-building and GYW centered groups.

The workshop was held within Asante Akyem North Municipality and was attended by private and public institutions, including, GYW groups, She Leads Social Movement National Convener, the Ashanti Regional Advocacy Officer, and the General Secretary of the movement, representatives from the Municipal Assembly were also present, as well as the Municipal Girl Child Coordinator.

Key discussions held during the session bordered on; building a reputable social media presence as a young female leader, female leaders deepening their understanding of movement building with emphasis on the critical role of She Leads Social Movement, and finally a refresher on the GYW- friendly modules designed to provide girls and young women with guidance to enhance personal and professional development.

The meetup concluded with discussions on innovative and practical strategies for sustaining impact beyond the project’s timeline and a pledged commitment to the she leads social movement.

The workshop ended with female leaders sharing their renewed perspective on the use of social media platforms to advance their various activism and leadership journeys. They expressed a heightened level of clarity on their role within the social movement and expressed renewed motivation to serve as advocates for girls and young women.
